    Hinsdale’s cross country runners closed out their 2023 season the State Championships in Kalispell Oct. 21. Zora Holt placed 12th out of 73 competitors in the girls Class C race. She ran the course at Rebecca Farm in 22:16.11. In the boys Class C race, Linden Holt ran a 22:26.68. He placed 89th out of 113 runners. Z.     Glasgow's volleyball team finished out their regular season last week, splitting a pair of conference games. The Scotties handed Wolf Point their first loss of the season in a three-set sweep 25-13, 27-25, 25-21, Oct. 19 in Glasgow before falling in four, 25-21, 19-25, 18-25, 23-25 on the road in Fairview the following day.     The Glasgow volleyball team notched to big wins last week, avenging an earlier season loss to Glendive and earning a conference win in Poplar. The Scotties down the Red Devils in four sets 25-18, 25-13, 15-25, 25-17 with stellar play Oct. 12. On the road the following day they swept the Indians 25-23, 25-12, 28-26. This is also one of the few teams we play twice in our regular season; In fact, I believe they are the only team we see twice. We had a few hiccups in our serving with 11 errors in three sets.     Frazer closed out their cross country regular season Friday at the Harlem Invitational. The boys placed seventh out of nine teams with 158 points, setting three personal records in the process. Jarvis Goodbird led the Bearcubs with an 11th place finish out of 78 runners. He ran an 18:25.88, a personal best for the sophomore.     The Scottie football team kept their conference momentum flowing on the road Oct. 6 with a 41-6 victory over Conrad, putting a damper on the Cowboys’ homecoming game.
