The North Country Mavericks basketball team lost their two first games of the season as they fell to the Jordan Mustangs on Friday, December 1, and the Melstone Broncs on Saturday, Dec. 2. Hi-Line Sportsmen are reducing at least one barrier to participation in hunting: helping defray the costs of commercial processing of harvested venison. The Glasgow-based conservation group will underwrite the cost of processing venison for hunters in financial need. The Glasgow Ice Dawgs won their home opener doubleheader against the Bozeman Ice Dogs. Glasgow cruised to an easy 9-2 win Saturday night and an 8-1 victory Sunday morning.
