    The North Country Lady Mavericks volleyball team's season came to an end at the State C Tournament last Saturday, Nov. 16.     The 2024 Glasgow Scottie volleyball season ended at the Northern B Divisional Tournament in Shelby as the Scotties went 1-2 in the second postseason event. Glasgow fell to Shelby in the opening round Thursday but defeated Choteau in loser-out action to keep the season alive. The Scotties season was ended by Chinook Nov. 8.     The Lustre Christian volleyball team’s 2024 season ended Nov. 1 at the District 1C Tournament in Plentywood. The Lions fell to the MonDak Thunder and the Richey-Lambert Fusion. Lustre Christian opened the tournament Thursday in a match against MonDak. The Lions dropped the first two sets but fought back to win the third and fourth games. Frazer faced the Froid-Lake Redhawks in the opening round of play Oct. 31. The Bearcubs lost in three sets 12-25, 11-25, 6-25. The loss sent Frazer to the back side of the bracket to face the Culbertson Cowgirls who had lost to Plentywood in the first round.     The cross country teams from Frazer, Nashua and Hinsdale competed at the MHSA State Cross Country Meet Oct. 26 in the final event of the 2024 season. Frazer The Frazer boys scored 225 points for 20th place while the girls scored 209 for 12th place. Gabe Beston led the boys team with a 15th place showing out of 128 runners.
