    Four Glasgow Scottie wrestlers came within a match of placing last weekend at the strong CMR Holiday Classic Invitational Tournament: Kasey Seyfert at 120, Cody King at 145, Tony Kaiser at 170 and heavyweight Joe Doney. Each advanced to the consolation fifth round.     The Ice Dawgs Squirts travelled to Butte for the four-game MAHA festival last weekend. They went 4-0. The Dawgs would take on Butte early in Saturday morning – and take the early lead on the scoreboard. Peyton Hubbard started the scoring on Trevor Dulaney's assist.     Gov. Steve Bullock and Montana Department of Commerce Director Meg O'Leary the award of $150,000 in funding for events across – including the Governor's Cup Walleye Tournament on Fort Peck Lake.     Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks is seeking public comment on a proposed rule that would adjust the list of waters where commercial bait seining is allowed in Montana. Three waters are proposed for addition to the approved seining list, and one is proposed for deletion. The water proposed for deletion is Flat Lake near Fort Peck in the Eastern Fishing District, which doesn't produce suitable numbers of bait fish to make commercial seining a sustainable activity.     Opening day at Glendive for the basketball Scotties brought mixed results. The boys wore down a young Class A Dawson County team, 58-37, in their first step to return to the state tournament.     Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks seeks information on the poaching of two elk shot and left in the Larb Hills area south of Malta in hunting district 622.     State wildlife officials are seeking tips from the public about the poaching of a mule deer buck near Fresno Reservoir. Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Warden Andy Matakis said the buck was shot on private property approximately one mile north of Highway 2 on Fresno Road, west of Havre.     The 40th Annual Fort Peck Christmas Bird Count (CBC) will be held this year on Dec. 20. In the last 39 years we have found a total of 128 species within the Ft. Peck CBC circle, including Bald Eagle, Mallard, Common Goldeneye and Black-capped Chickadee, which have been seen in every one of the counts.
