The Glasgow Scotties hit seven 3-pointers, four from senior Lane Herbert alone, as they avenge a loss against Glendive at home on Jan. 30 with a 75-59 win. The win meant a lot for the Scotties as Glasgow fell from the top spot in Class B to No. 3 in the rankings. Glendive is a Class-A opponent and ranked fourth in the Jan. 29 rankings. The Hinsdale Raider girls started the weekend off with a win over the Lustre Christian Lady Lions last Friday evening at home. The Lady Raiders went into the weekend with a 6-2 record in conference and 11-2 overall and are in control of second place behind the Saco/WW Lady Panthers. The Glasgow High School Speech & Drama team competed at the Huntley Project Invitational Meet on Saturday. There were 26 schools competing at this meet with over 350 students participating. The Glasgow junior high boys had a thrilling day at the basketball jamboree hosted by the Glasgow High School on Saturday, January 18. With first-game anxiety out of the way last weekend in Plentywood, all teams seemed to have intensified their game. Glasgow AAU wrestling is back on the mat for another year with coach Jory Casterline leading some feisty newcomers and veteran youngsters who look learn and sharpen their wrestling skills in a town rich with wrestling tradition. Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks has scheduled four public meetings along the Hi-Line in January to discuss tentative hunting regulations for the next two years. A total of 43 of the public gatherings are scheduled across the state. In FWP Region 6, the meetings will be held in Plentywood on January 9, Malta on January 14, Glasgow on January 21 and Havre on January 23.
