The catch of the day is worth $2,000 this weekend. That's what the winner gets Saturday at the 18th annual Ice Fishing Derby at Dredge Cuts Pond in Fort Peck. Last year David Combs took home the cold hard cash. The 19U Lady Ice Dawgs traveled to Williston, North Dakota, this past weekend to play four League games against the North Dakota Amateur Hockey Association’s northeast teams. Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks hunter education course dates have been set for the Glasgow and Hinsdale areas. To be eligible to hunt during the 2015 season, hunters must be 12 years old by Jan. 16, 2016. To be eligible for certification, students must be at least 11 years old on the first day of the class.
