    The Scottie girls basketball team fell 57-43 to the visiting Malta M-ettes Feb. 1 but rebounded to avenge an earlier season loss against the Poplar Indians, winning 56-53 on the road Feb. 2. Glasgow got on the board first against Malta but the M-ettes quickly took control of the game, leading 17-8 at the end of one. The Scotties trailed 29-16 at the half and 46-27 at the end of three.     The Ice Dawgs swept the Great Falls Americans at the Valley Event Center this past weekend and with the two wins, the Dawgs claimed the top slot in the BSHS East with a 12-1-0 record, the only team in the league with a single loss.
