    The 2017 District 3C track meet was held May 13 in conjunction with the District 2B meet. Although there was no touching the Scobey teams, Valley County was well represented by area athletes.     The Glasgow Reds opened their season with two games against the Miles City Mavericks on Mother's Day, May 14. Miles City 9, Glasgow 3 M.     The Scottie sluggers notched two more wins this past weekend, bringing them to 17-1 overall for the season. On May 5, Glasgow hosted the class A Sidney Eagles and finished with an 8-1 win. The Scotties attacked offensively right off the bat, and defensively denied the Lady Eagles any runs until the final inning.     The Scottie golf team was in Harlem May 5, and the boys took the top spot with 379 points. Leading the way was Oden Hallock, who placed third overall individually with 93 points.     The Scottie track team has been busy, with three separate meets held in the last week. The competitions began with the top ten meet in Glasgow on May 2.     Following a home game against Glendive April 25, the Lady Scotties traveled to Great Falls for a two-day tournament April 28 and 29.     The Scottie track team traveled to Sidney April 22 for one of their largest meets of the season. With hundreds of athletes representing several teams, it was a long day of competition.
