The Scottie's focus and drive shone through as they rocked it both offensively and defensively. An amazing 67 digs (Ziggy Chamberlain 17) kept alive nearly every ball Malta sent over. Coupled with an impressive 37 team kills (Jesi Kennedy 13), creative setting (Rachelle Glaser 33) and aggressive serving (Baylie Chappell... Full story

For homecoming on Oct. 7, GHS outlasted a tenacious Poplar team that played with full hearts and sheer energy. While it wasn't the Scotties' most stellar performance, it still counts as a win, so it was a success. But, GHS will need to re-group after the close contest, especially as the district tournament looms large. Several stunning defensive plays livened up the team and the ever-loyal crowd, but GHS was kept off-balance and struggled to really find their rhythm offensively. Still, a win is... Full story

The Lady Scotties were in Wolf Point Sept. 29 to take on a determined squad on the night of their school's homecoming. It turned out to be a tough night for them as the Lady Wolves took care of things in three straight games: 19-25, 17-25, 24-26. Passing woes, which almost inevitably lead to a less-effective offense, plagued GHS for much of the game and overpasses to a very tall and athletic team was an immediate problem. But, credit also goes to Wolf Point. They blocked and hit very... Full story
