    It's an early Saturday morning as I walk into the high school gym. I take a deep breath, and the smell of wrestling mats engulf my nostrils. It smells like sweat, hard work, intensity, anxiety, confidence, determination, failure and success.     The Ice Dawg Squirts headed into the state tournament with a MAHA record of 15-1-0. With team play, intensity, drive and determination as well as strong offense and solid defense they dominated much of their competition. Glasgow played five games in the tournament, which was held in Havre Feb. 23-25.     The Glasgow Scotties closed out their 2017-2018 season with one win out of three games at the divisional tournament held in Glasgow Feb. 22-24. The win was a hard-fought contest vs. long-time rival the Malta Mustangs. Both teams played with intensity and determination, sending the game into double overtime and the crowd into a frenzy.     The Glasgow Highlanders had another dominating performance over the weekend. The youngsters crowned 16 champions and 31 top-three finishers overall at the Sidney Invitational held Feb. 24.     The Scottie wrestlers wrapped up their 2017-2018 season with a super showing at the state tournament in Billings Feb. 9 and 10. Following a few "rebuilding" years, Glasgow entered this year's tournament with 12 state qualifiers and finished with six of those wrestlers earning individual places.
