  • Generosity Results in Successful Elk Hunt

    Georgie Kulczyk, The Courier|Nov 28, 2018

Generosity often comes full circle. At times, it can be difficult to track the path of kindness, or even discern its origination, but that's part of the beauty of living in a rural area. A recent series of generous acts left a fairly easy trail to follow. This particular kindness began with Gardner Ranch Outfitters. The family-owned business is located out of Broadus and has been offering guided hunting excursions for nearly 40 years, averaging between 90 and 100 hunts each year. Earlier this...

  • Glasgow Hunter Learns the Ropes of Hunting in NE Montana

    Michelle Bigelbach, The Courier|Nov 14, 2018

As a new hunter to Northeast Montana this season, Cory Mottice readily admits there has been a slight learning curve to navigating and getting a feel for the land. • Hinsdale Seven Contributed Heavily to 2018 Scottie Football Season

    Georgie Kulczyk, The Courier|Nov 7, 2018

Seven young men from Hinsdale made up nearly one-third of the Scottie football roster this past season. That being said, you could assume that as a group they were key players for the Scotties. You could also say, arguably, they were the core players of the team. As a group, the boys are fairly unassuming and come across as honest, respectful and attentive. They also seem to have a good grip on reality and display a notable level of humility. Of the seven, four are 16 year-old sophomores: The...
