The Glasgow Wrestling Club sent Highlanders all over the state for several competitions this past weekend, including the Montana Middle School Championships in Lewistown on March 2. Kohl Kittleson placed second in the Middle School 152 division with just one loss in three matches. Three separate hockey teams brought their seasons to an end this past weekend as they competed in their state tournaments. The 19U girls were in Bismarck for their second state tournament of the season as they represented Glasgow at the North Dakota Amateur Hockey Association State Tournament, while the High School boys traveled to Havre and the Pee Wees were on the road to Miles City. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Fort Peck Project (Montana) is expanding winter recreation opportunities at the Downstream Campground, Kiwanis Park and Beaver Creek Nature Trail with the addition of a new, groomed sporting trail with set tracks for cross-country skiing. Saturday, Feb. 23, was a night of honor and hits. Glasgow honored their Senior Ice Dawgs and their families in a pregame ceremony. The Scottie wrestlers clinched a second-place team trophy at the State Wrestling Tournament this past weekend, representing Glasgow with remarkable individual performances. The tournament, held at the Metra Park in Billings Feb. 8 and 9, hosted teams from AA to C classes and packed the venue with coaches, competitors and fans.
