They were matched up against two entirely different teams for the day, facing the Conrad Cowgirls and the Shelby Lady Coyotes. The Glasgow Middle School track program is nearing the half-way point of its short season and is hosting its invitational meet this Thursday, April 18, at the Glasgow High School track. Field events get underway at 9 a.m. with running events scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. Most Class B and Class C schools from the region plan to compete. Eligible graduating seniors from Valley County high schools are encouraged to apply for a Jeff Jurgens Memorial Scholarship, presented by the Scottie Booster Club. Application deadline for the scholarships is May 1, 2019. The scholarships are funded by proceeds from the annual Jeff Jurgens Memorial Basketball Tournament, which finished its 21st consecutive year last month.
