Glasgow's 19U Ice Dawgs hosted their first home games Dec. 13, 14, and 15, at the Valley Event Center with a pair of games against both the Havre Ice Hawks and the Salmon Rapids. The Glasgow Scottie Wrestling Team fell just out of the top three at the Scottie Invitational on Dec. 14 claiming fourth place with 119 points. The Scottie boys and girls basketball teams hit the road last week to play three games against the North Country Mavericks on Dec. 12 in Saco before heading to Red Lodge to play the Red Lodge Rams on Dec. 13 and the Columbus Cougars on Dec. 14. The Glasgow Scottie Wrestlers made their way to the Sidney Eagle Invitational this past weekend to test their skills on the mat against some of the finest grapplers from Montana, North Dakota and South Dakota. The Dawgs struggled in the tournament going up against teams with more time and players on the ice. “We were outplayed, outmanned,” said Coach Paul Provencher.
