The Ice Dawg Squirts team faced some tough battles on home ice at the Valley Event Center Dec. 8 and 9. The young skaters faced off against Great Falls and Havre but were unable to find a path to victory. The Lady Ice Dawgs 19U team traveled to Sidney Nov. 22 through the 24 for their inaugural tournament of the season. The Dawgs struggled in the tournament going up against teams with more time and players on the ice. “We were outplayed, outmanned,” said Coach Paul Provencher. In the first game for the Ice Dawgs, Tatum Provencher logged the only goal for Glasgow, as they fell to Notre Dame, 7-1. The Glasgow Ice Dawgs Bantam team hosted the Copper City Kings Nov. 23 and 24 at the Valley Event Center. The Dawgs skated away with one win and one tie on the weekend. The Glasgow High School Speech and Drama teams traveled to Circle on Nov. 23 for that school's invitational competition. Taking along 13 competitors in speech and only two in drama, the team again claimed a first place ranking for the speech team keeping that side of the event's perfect season alive.
