The Glasgow Scottie Wrestling Club held their annual wrestling camp at the Glasgow Civic Center last week. The program drew a crowd of 120 wrestlers ranging from kindergarten to 12th grade, and spanning from Glasgow to Billings. She has been recognized for her efforts in leading the snack pack program that is aimed at providing snacks to kids so they can focus on school instead of hunger. The Glasgow Kiwanis Swim Team competed in Conrad at the state swim meet Aug. 4 and 5. Going into the weekend, the team was seeded sixth in the class "A" division. A mandatory parent meeting for all middle school and high school students planning on participating in sports during the 2018-19 school year will be held on Thursday, Aug. 9, at 7 p.m., at the GHS auditorium. The Glasgow Kiwanis Swim Team took 32 swimmers to the divisional swim meet in Chinook July 28 and 29. A handful of runners from Glasgow traveled to Missoula to participate in the Missoula Marathon July 13 – 15. Some chose to do the half-marathon, while others jumped in with both feet and ran the full marathon, which is a Boston Marathon qualifier. The 51st Annual John Hahn Memorial Softball Tournament, held at John Hahn Field in Fort Peck, wrapped up July 8, with The Mill emerging as champions.
