The Lady Mavericks came out Champions of the District 3-C tournament with a 67-31 victory over the Scobey Spartans. The girls came out confident and mentally focused. They did a great job of executing the adjustments we had talked about going into the game after playing Scobey twice in the regular season. As a team we shot the ball very well from the perimeter knocking down 8-3 pointers. The girls defense was excellent, making Scobey earn every bucket they got. I couldn't be more proud of this...

The 42-25 dual win over Miles City showed the team's improvement over the season. Glasgow lost an early season...
Playing at home in a rematch against the Bozeman Icedogs, the Glasgow Ice Dawgs continued to show discipline on the ice and a new control not reflected by the final scores. Saturday, the Dawgs lost 9-1 and fell 10-3 Sunday morning but again turned in nearly perfectly clean games, registering only one infraction per game, a marked improvement from earlier this season. The visiting Icedogs got the jump on the Dawgs, taking a 2-1 lead at the end of the first period Saturday evening. Puck control...

Coach Jory Casterline was pleased with his team's performance over the last week, after a less-than-stellar performance by the team the week prior. Though injuries and illnesses have played a part in...

The Glasgow Ice Dawgs high school team may have dropped two games while in Bozeman over the weekend, but the team is improving in ways not reflected by the final scores. Though the team continues to struggle when it comes to scoring, the Ice Dawgs turned in two of the cleanest games they've played this season. The Dawgs have served an inordinate amount of time in the penalty box this season which has contributed to several losses this season as opponents have taken advantage of their...

The Glasgow Ice Dawgs continue to struggle with their season, often playing with a number of players out of the line up. Having to constantly adjust and juggle the lines has played a role in the inability of the team to come together on the ice. Specifically, the Dawgs have yet to find a special teams line up that works. In four games against the Billings Bulls over the weekend Glasgow went 0-for-19 on the man advantage. At the same time, the Bulls converted on 10 of 28 power plays. One of...

This past week, Glasgow had three separate events: a triangular in Miles City on Thursday, a triangular in Malta on Friday and a home mixer on Saturday. "We dropped duals to two Class A schools," said...
