Glasgow’s high school Ice Dawgs hockey team traveled to Butte this past weekend to take on the Copper City Kings, in a rivalry that grows with each game. The Dawgs were blanked in Friday night’s match up but stormed the ice Saturday morning for their revenge and first win of the season, taking a 4-3 victory. The Glasgow Scottie boys basketball team overcame a first-quarter deficit on Friday to beat the Sidney Eagles, 62-44, in a high-fouling game. On Saturday, the Scotties dropped a 72-48 game to the Red Devils in Glendive, in another game where free throws made a difference.
