    The Glasgow golf teams were back in action this past Friday, hitting the links in Shelby. Despite a windy day, the Scottie boys team dropped 36 strokes from their first outing. “What a difference two weeks make,” said coach Todd Truscott, while noting it is time to keep working. “I am very happy with the progress we have made!” Riley Smith led the boys with a score of 89, followed by Keigan Ingram with 91.     Spring was in the air and so were an untold number of athletes last Thursday at the Glasgow Invitational track meet. Twenty-six schools and more than 564 tracksters hit the ground running and jumping, a significant increase from the 2019 meet with 26 schools but only 384 athletes. After a year off due to the complete shutdown of schools and spring sports in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic, the team shook off the cobwebs but still suffered two losses.     On Saturday, April 10, starting at noon we will be holding a 22 BPCR silhouette match. There will be 10 targets and 1 sighter target at each station.
