The Nashua Porcupines took nine athletes to Lewistown this past Saturday to compete in the Fergus Invitational. Head coach Janice Rorvik told the Courier, "The day turned out to be sunny and mild with no wind which was great for our runners, throwers and jumpers." Hinsdale Raider standout Kaitlyn McColly added three more first-place finishes to her track season on Saturday at the Fergus Invitational. The senior qualified for the State Class C track meet after winning the long jump and the 300 hurdles in Lewistown. The Hinsdale Raiders traveled to Havre on Saturday, April 10 to compete in the Havre Lions Meet. "It was a windy day, but perfect competition for the team," Head coach Taylor Olson said. Spring was in the air and so were an untold number of athletes last Thursday at the Glasgow Invitational track meet. Twenty-six schools and more than 564 tracksters hit the ground running and jumping, a significant increase from the 2019 meet with 26 schools but only 384 athletes. On Saturday, April 10, starting at noon we will be holding a 22 BPCR silhouette match. There will be 10 targets and 1 sighter target at each station. Targets consist of rams at 200 yards, turkeys at 150 yards, pigs at 100 yards, and chickens at 50 yards. The Glasgow Wrestling Club made the trek to Kalispell for the 2021 State AAU Tournament this past weekend and brought home hardware.
