    A group of superheros and their sidekicks swooped into Sunnyside on Sept. 1 to conquer the course in the Superhero golf tournament. For nine holes of scramble play, the young heroes and their adult sidekicks battled it out on the links. The young warriors were able to tee off from special yellow pins set up for the tournament and had the power to declare one mulligan on each putting green.     Glasgow's Middle School cross country team opened what they hope to be an eight-race season with a good showing against other Hi-Line and North Dakota schools Aug. 30 in Wolf Point.     There can be only one. Or two. Okay, three. There are three new victors at Sunnyside Golf & Country Club. After 36 holes of golf on Aug. 24 and 25, Sunnyside crowned several new club champions. Previous men's champion, Joel Smith, took a respectable third this season, behind Jake Hughes in second and Ed Hopfauf in first.     It was a dreary, overcast and misty day Aug. 17 as 43 triathletes of all ages and from all around the region gathered to test their mettle against three long-distance events.     Last year the Scottie Wrestling Camp set a new record, they reached a total attendance of nearly 120 wrestlers.     The Glasgow-Fort Peck Chapter of Montana Walleye's Unlimited hosted their 19th Annual Women's Fishing Tournament this past weekend July 19 and 20 at Fort Peck Reservoir. Scheels of Billings provided free tackle boxes filled with tackle for each participant along with a free T-shirt provided by the other sponsors.     It was early Friday morning, July 12, and 200 boats had filled the waters of the Fort Peck Marina waiting for their wave to get flagged out.
