    Valley County track and field teams found themselves well represented at the Eastern C Divisional meet in Sidney on May 20. Combined, Hinsdale, Lustre Christian, Nashua and Opheim (Scobey-Opheim Unified) took 31 podium spots and nine first-place finishes. Six top-six spots were personal records.     For the first time in many years, the Glasgow Scottie golfers sent both teams to the state competition.     The Glasgow Scottie softball team went three and one over the course of their last weekend of regular season play. Their trip started with a 23-19 win in Lewistown over Fergus. They then traveled to Cut Bank where they beat Great Falls Central Catholic 20-2, lost a tight 3-2 defensive game to Cut Bank, and finished with a strong 21-3 victory over Shelby.     The Glasgow Reds kicked off their 2021 season in Havre on May 16, unfortunately starting their record 0-2. The team got on the board first against Helena, but could not maintain and lost the game 13-1. Back on the field against the host team, Glasgow mustered more offense but lost 12-3 to the Havre North Stars.     The Glasgow Scotties softball team traveled to Glendive on Friday, May 7 for a double header. The night had originally been scheduled for a single game but was bumped up to a double header after weather cancelled an early season game in Glasgow between the two teams. Glasgow took both games, winning the first 6-2 and taking the second game 11-8.
