    The Glasgow Scotties split their games last week, dropping a tough game 13-3 against an offensive Havre Blue Ponies team on Tuesday and then bouncing back to win in dramatic fashion at home against the Sidney Eagles by one run, 18-17.     After a hiatus from competition thanks to northeast Montana's version of Spring, the Scottie golfers were back on the links for two meets last week. The teams traveled to Wolf Point last Friday for the Poplar Invitational and then went the opposite direction on Saturday to play Marian Hills in Malta. The boys took sixth at the North East Montana Invite last Tuesday and seventh in Whitewater on Friday. Their week started on Tuesday with the North East Montana Invite held in Wolf Point, followed by the Whitewater Invitational on Friday and the Sidney Invitational on Saturday.     The Sidney Eagles came from behind twice on Friday, April 16 once to tie and once to take the lead in the softball game.     The Nashua Porcupines took nine athletes to Lewistown this past Saturday to compete in the Fergus Invitational. Head coach Janice Rorvik told the Courier, "The day turned out to be sunny and mild with no wind which was great for our runners, throwers and jumpers."     Hinsdale Raider standout Kaitlyn McColly added three more first-place finishes to her track season on Saturday at the Fergus Invitational. The senior qualified for the State Class C track meet after winning the long jump and the 300 hurdles in Lewistown.     North Country Maverick standout Kaitlyn McColly signed a letter of intent on April 7 to play basketball with the Williston State Tetons.     Spring was in the air and so were an untold number of athletes last Thursday at the Glasgow Invitational track meet. Twenty-six schools and more than 564 tracksters hit the ground running and jumping, a significant increase from the 2019 meet with 26 schools but only 384 athletes.
