    Gwendolyne Honrud, The Courier|Sep 11, 2019

"This will be a good year." If the season opener for the Glasgow Scottie football team is any indicator, those words from Assistant Coach Levi Sugg may prove to be an understatement. The boys in red and white ended their first game in Conrad with a final score of 48-6 on Sept. 6. "It went fine. It went ok," said Patrick Barnett, head coach. "It was a good win for us." The coach was not hesitant to name junior Jesse Lee as the stand-out player of the game, though he quickly followed up with a...

    A.J. Etherington, The Courier|Sep 11, 2019

But come Saturday morning, that attempt would be foiled by persistent rains that had saturated the low-lying trails, and the meet would be moved to the high ground near Glasgow High School. It was there, on the gravel portions of Airport Rd., that the...

    Gwendolyne Honrud, The Courier|Aug 21, 2019

The two teams of 24 men each hit the links Aug. 17, decked out in Scottie Red and Mustang Blue, each side gamely keeping up their longstanding rivalry. Glasgow came ready to...

Northeast Montana Fair goers were treated to the usual – with a few notable selections – of food and entertainment at the Valley County Fairgrounds last week, but like every year nothing gets the blood pumping, the drinks flowing and the crowd booming like the PRCA Rodeo. In spite of heat, dust and the allure of the lake, this year drew hundreds out to watch cowboys and cowgirls test their grit and determination against some stubborn ranch animals, bulls, broncos and the ever-defeating tim...
