    Nashua’s girls basketball team split their pre-holiday break games at home last week, losing to North Country 59-14 on Tuesday before rebounding to defeat Dodson 40-27 on Wednesday.     The Nashua boys basketball team dropped their two home games last week. They lost 52-32 to the North Country Mavericks despite a strong first half on Tuesday. The Mavericks downed the Porcupines 59-14 after holding the host team to single digit scoring in each quarter.     The North Country boys found their first victory on the road last week when they traveled to Nashua and defeated the Porcupines by a 20-point margin, 52-32. The home team took a 13-12 lead after one quarter of play, but North Country threw up 17 points in the second while holding Nashua to 9 to take a 29-22 lead into halftime.
