Special to this year's event was the celebration of Sally Figmaka, who is retiring after 47 years of dedication to the facility. For the Courier The Hinsdale School Board is asking the community for funds to replace the 1968 school boiler and the high school ventilation system. At this time federal and local funds are being used to replace the elementary ventilation system. According to the school, for 54 years, with diligent maintenance and pride, the boiler and ventilation system was operational, however now it is becoming obsolete. On Sunday, June 12, 76 golfers on 19 teams showed up to Sunnyside Golf and Country Club for the 23rd Annual FMDH Foundation Golf Tournament.
