    Glasgow Middle School seventh-grader Karsyn Sillerud represented Valley County during the 57th Annual Treasure State Spelling Bee in Bozeman on March 12. Held in the Strand Union Building on the Montana State University campus, this was the first time the Bee was held in Bozeman and the first in-person oral state spelling bee since 2019.     During the late-night hours of March 13, two adult men were detained by deputies from the Valley County Sheriff’s Office for suspected drug activity. An investigation ensued and eventually both men were transported to the Valley County Detention Center. There, one of the men began exhibiting symptoms of a drug overdose.
