    The Valley County Health Department is offering the second booster doses of the COVID vaccine to people age 50+ or immunocompromised individuals age 18+. Walk-in vaccination clinics are from 4 to 5:30 p.m. every Wednesday afternoon throughout the spring and summer.     The yearly Valley County Clean Up event was held this past weekend, April 29 through May 1, and Mother Nature cooperated in allowing sunshine and clear skies to bring the community out and clean up.     On April 20, it was announced the state of Montana will receive $127 million for the second round of competitive water and sewer grants that were secured in the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). The state’s ARPA Infrastructure Advisory Commission approved $118.2 million for 95 water and sewer projects in the state as well as $8.8 million for 34 irrigation projects in the state.     The Glasgow City Council met on April 25 for a regular meeting and discussed water and sewer rates for the next five years. The council agreed to a five-year rate schedule which will increase the base rate for water and sewer two percent each year. The current base rate for a residential water line is $28.15 per month. This will increase two percent each year and by year 2027 the base residential water rate will be $31.08 per month.
