On Sunday, June 12, 76 golfers on 19 teams showed up to Sunnyside Golf and Country Club for the 23rd Annual FMDH Foundation Golf Tournament. In the primary election on June 7 Valley County totaled 2,186 votes cast out of 4,859 registered voters, a 44 percent voter turnout with a majority being case absentee. Democrats cat 450 ballots, Libertarians had 42 ballots counted, and Republicans returned 1,694 ballots.
