    In 2022 we had a total of 82 kids with a total of 103 fish caught. Each participant received a free t-shirt provided by the sponsors. Prizes were awarded to the top placers and those who did not place had a variety of free gifts to choose from. We finished with a free lunch provided by Thrivent Financial, Shelly George and ice cream from Meadow Gold. They all fished back at Winter Harbor where there were lots of fish to be caught.     Last week Katie Knierim and Kevin Miller donated $25,000 to the Valley County Community Pool Campaign making the total raised $2,518,028, just over the $2.5 million mark, of the $3,304,000 goal needed to build a new pool in Glasgow. The Miller children, Jack and Molly, are both part of the Glasgow Kiwanis Swim Team Thunder, and Knierim swam in swim team as a kid, so seeing the campaign so close to their goal and seeing a new pool in Glasgow within sights is important to them as a family.     The Nashua All-School Reunion, which is usually held every five years, 2021 was the scheduled year, but was not held last year because of COVID, is fast approaching.     Due to circumstances beyond our control, Valley County Transit hours of service are being reduced effective July 17. Service will still be available Monday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. until 5 p.m. within Glasgow.     For the Courier The Hinsdale School Board is asking the community for funds to replace the 1968 school boiler and the high school ventilation system. At this time federal and local funds are being used to replace the elementary ventilation system.
