    Nemont Manor Foundation announces the extension of a grant cycle to benefit communities and residents of Valley County. Grants will be made from the Valley County Masonic Endowment Fund, established at MCF by the Nemont Manor Foundation. Grant applications will be accepted through April 30, 2023. Applicants must be either a 501(c)(3) nonprofit or an exempt governmental unit. Grants will be up to $5,000.   • Security Incident at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital

    On the afternoon of March 29th a security incident occurred at Frances Mahon Deaconess Hospital. Law enforcement responded to the incident, and the facility was put on lockdown for a brief period. The incident has been resolved and there is no concern for safety at this time. The Southwing parking lot, Southwing entrance, and South Employee parking lot are currently closed.     A handful of Glasgow High School students competed in the Business Professionals of America (BPA) State Conference in Billings that took place March 12 through 14.     Local Valley County officials gathered at the National Weather Service in Glasgow on March 17 to learn about the potential of flooding throughout the county.
