Members of the Valley County Sheriff's Office and the Tri Agency Task Force arrested Shannon Ray Emeline (36, male) on a warrant for criminal possession of dangerous drugs out of Yellowstone County on April 22. A hero-sized bronze sculpture destined to be a key feature at the Northeast Montana Veterans Memorial at Fort Peck is on temporary display at First Community Bank in Glasgow, reports Art Widhalm. Valley County will be having their 9th annual Free Tree Day on Thursday, May 5. They will be giving out trees starting at 7:30 a.m. on the east side of the Glasgow Courthouse until they are gone. There will be lilacs, caragana, chokecherry, American plum, and Black Hills spruce. Mary Strand appeared in District Court before Judge John McKeon to enter guilty pleas for five separate felony counts, including four counts of theft of property by embezzlement and one count of money laundering.
