    Glasgow Elks Lodge #1922 recently made a $2,000 donation to our local Valley Community Emergency Food Bank. The Glasgow Lodge applied for the funds for the donation from the Elks National Foundation (ENF) through their Gratitude Grant Program. Gratitude Grants are the ENF's way of saying thank you to every Lodge that meets the Elks National President's per-member-giving goal for giving to the ENF.     A coroner’s inquest related to the 2022 death of Dennis Wing was held Jan. 31, at the Valley County Courthouse. According to law, the inquest is a formal inquiry into the causes and circumstances surrounding the death of a person and is conducted by the coroner before a jury.     Last week, the Valley County Commissioners passed a resolution amending the county mill levy for state equalization, county high school equalization and the county elementary equalization mill levy authority for this fiscal year.
