  • Give the Gift of Skating! Sign-Ups Going On Now For Glasgow Learn To Skate

    Sign-ups for the second session of Glasgow Learn to Skate are taking place now through Dec. 20. Last session we were full so don’t delay in reserving a spot for your skater. Classes are 45 minutes long which include a lesson and free time. Kindergarten through adult classes are on Fridays between 9 a.m., and noon and Saturdays 8 to 9 a.m. Preschool classes are on Saturdays 9 to 9:30 a.m. Cost is $50 per six-week session for kindergarten through adult lessons and $30 for preschoolers.     Veteran service officers for the Montana Veterans Affairs will be visiting the following locations and times to meet with veterans who are interested in applying for benefits. If you are interested in applying for benefits, please bring a copy of your discharge paperwork (DD214) with you. The 30th Annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner will be held Thursday, Nov. 24, at Glasgow Senior Citizens Center, located at 328 4th Street South.     The American Red Cross urges blood donors to give now and help fight the potential impact of seasonal illnesses and a potentially severe flu season on the blood supply.     The student groups at Glasgow High School will be hosting their annual Haunted Hayride on Sunday, Oct. 30, from 5 to 7:15 p.m., at Sullivan Park. From 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. will be not so scary; from 6 to 7:15 p.m. will be for the not weak of heart or bladder to avoid a tombstone.
