    The Glasgow City-County Library will not be having any end of the summer reading program parties as originally planned. All ages participating in the summer reading program will need to have their activity sheets and bingo sheets turned in by 7 p.m, Wednesday, July 22.   • Fort Peck Interpretive Center Opens

    The Fort Peck Interpretive Center will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Monday, July 13. There are several changes in place due to Covid-19 precautions. Visitors are asked to wear masks and remain six feet from others outside their household while in the building. Occupancy will be limited to 50 people at any one time. One way travel will be marked through the building.     The fifth annual FORE The Kids Cup Golf Tournament is slated for Sunday, June 28, at Sunnyside Golf Course. This tournament was created to raise funds for a scholarship to benefit Scottie golfers.     Valley County will be hosting its first COVID-19 drive-thru testing event on Thursday, June 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Northeastern Montana Fairgrounds in Glasgow. The event is free and will be used to determine asymptomatic positive COVID-19 cases for surveillance purposes. Anyone that is asymptomatic, must be healthy at the time of collection, can be tested and there is no age or other demographic restrictions on getting a test.     We are currently working on our second annual Fourth of July celebration fundraiser. This is a three part event held at the fairgrounds. Part one is a community barbecue that features: hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans, chips, brownies, watermelon and drink (free will offering).
