    Since 1790, the U.S. Census, which is mandated by the Constitution, has occurred every 10 years. This year marks another decade where information needs to be obtained in order to determine funding, possibly another U.S. House seat for the state and to better the community.     The 29th Annual Thanksgiving Day Dinner will be held Thursday, Nov. 28, at Glasgow Senior Citizens Center, located at 328 4th Street South. Last year 200 folks enjoyed the dinner, and the center hopes to exceed that number this coming year. Over the past 28 years approximately 4,800 people have enjoyed the event.     Groups trying to improve mental health and decrease substance abuse in Valley County are sponsoring a Mental Health Walk on Saturday, Oct. 5. The event will start at 10:30 a.m. at the Valley Event Center and will end at the Civic Center.     Terry "T.Y." Edward Young died peacefully the morning of Friday, March 22, 2019, at his home in Glasgow, Mont., 13 days after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. Though his illness was sudden and shocking, his struggle was mercifully short and with minimal pain. He was 76 years old.     Early Saturday morning firefighters responded to an incident at Nemont Manor. The fire originated from a faulty furnace located in the basement. Although it was quickly extinguished, the smoke from the small blaze filled the building's basement and most of the lobby. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire but due to the smoke several residents were evacuated from the premises while the smoke cleared.
