Monday, Feb. 20 2002 – Caller reported leaving a relative’s residence when the pickup slid down and into a MHP patrol car. The reporting party stated he spoke with a female who said the officer is not there at the moment.     Having a presence within the community since 1958, the local Soroptimist International of the Americas (SIA) group has changed its name to Caring Hands, Inc. However, no changes will be made in how the group gives back to the community nor will the operation of the Glasgow Caring Hands thrift store see any changes.     Due to circumstances beyond our control, Valley County Transit hours of service are being reduced effective July 17. Service will still be available Monday through Friday from 7:15 a.m. until 5 p.m. within Glasgow.     Montana Governor Greg Gianforte issued an executive order on Feb. 12 allowing the statewide mask mandate to expire following his signing of a law protecting businesses from COVID-related liabilities.
