Just before Easter the Senate passed my SB416, which is the only major infrastructure bill that might have a chance to pass. Senate Bill 416 passed the Senate on a 47 to 3 vote. Another Glasgow area native was welcomed back to town this week. Haylie Shipp, farm broadcaster for the Northern Ag Network, was given a welcome home celebration at Farm Equipment Sales. The three-way contest for one seat on the Glasgow School Board was settled Tuesday night. Mona Amundson was elected to a three-year term with 739 votes. Sarah Swanson had 418 votes and Rod Ost had 137. Voting was running high for this election. Forty-three percent of the 3,084 registered voters requested absentee ballots.
