Director of Public Works Bob Kompel said three contractors picked up bid packets. He was following up with two of them to ask why they chose not to bid the project. The 12th Annual Fishin' for the Cure Tournament was held Aug. 3, at Rock Creek Marina at Fort Peck. Randy Redfern hooked first-place for walleye, while Oddvar Idland snagged the Northern first-place finish. Though the anglers snagged the prizes, the true winners of the weekend were two children.
