Predictions of inclement weather led to the cancellation of the Jean Dreikosen Invitational Meet at Scottie Field, scheduled for May 8. The 2019 Northern B Divisional track meet started off a bit differently than previous years. The meet was scheduled to begin on Saturday, May 18. The Scottie Booster Club's annual all-sports banquet was held in the St. Raphael's gymnasium on May 29. The purpose of the event was to honor and award student athletes of GHS and recognize their outstanding achievements. The volleyball season has come to an end and brought with it the usual range of conflicting emotions, but the prevailing feeling must actually be one of accomplishment. Even though we said goodbye earlier in the Divisional Tournament than we had hoped, the Glasgow Scotties did so with class and grace after having given their all. Glasgow hosted the Northern B Divisional track meet on May 20, with 11 teams showing up to compete. Although there were some disappointed Scotties, the team as a whole had a super day of competition. Executive director of ZooMontana (Billings) Jeff Ewelt and his staff will be bringing live animals to Glasgow on March 22. To keep the community and children surprised, the type and number of animals are being kept under wraps until they make their grand appearance.
