This is the second campaign that candidate Joe Horn and incumbent Glen Meier have faced off. This election Meier took 58 percent of the votes, with 1,969 votes, to 1,378 votes for Horn. 1 Years Ago Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014 Volunteers from NorthWest Energy and from the city of Glasgow came out from Great Falls, Malta and here in Glasgow to help plant trees around town. Some of those trees went to fill in a few areas in the cemetery, and around eight or 10 trees will help fill Candy Cane Park. A Glasgow police officer has been awarded the Montana Medal of Valor for his actions that saved the life of a law enforcement dispatcher who was trapped in a burning truck. The medal was presented to Tyler Edwards by Montana Attorney General Tim Fox at the annual meeting of the Montana Association of Chiefs of Police (MACOP) in Billings on May 16.
