For over 65 years the Glasgow Kiwanis Club has supported the Salvation Army Bell Ringing at this time of year. That will be changing, as the Ministerial Association voted to discontinue their participation in administering the funds raised and channeled through the Salvation Army in Denver. It was a perfect December day on the 2nd for the annual Middle Of Nowhere Polar Plunge in front of the Glasgow Civic Center during the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce & Agriculture's Winter Wonderland Christmas Stroll. Although I am submitting this and do remember these picnics, this was written by my significant other, Paul “Bud.” I will talk about Tampico School picnics in particular. I remember the site being the Bob Cornwell place across the Milk River from Tampico. This site was up by the mouth of Buggy Creek in a hay field along the river. Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks fisheries staff are planning to drawdown Home Run Pond in Glasgow to revive the fishery. David O. Olguin, 68, of Glasgow, Mont., passed away Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2023, in Billings, Mont. He was a resident of Milk River Inc., Glasgow. David was the only child born to his natural parents during their marriage. At the time of his birth, he was diagnosed as having Cerebral Palsy.
