    I listened to Brian Austin on “Under the Big Sky” and noted that he did forget to mention the rendering plant at the old Milk River Bridge site. This was in operation during the early days of my marriage. This building was used to render the lard from the fat from processed pork.     The Milk River basketball team was set to attend the Special Olympics Montana State basketball Tournament in Butte Nov. 10-12 but winter hit the state and disrupted Glasgow's travel plans. Rather than travel across the state in treacherous conditions for the 89-team tournament, the hoopsters of Milk River made the shorter trek to Sidney for a friendly game against the Eagles.
