    Eugene R. "Pete" Nicol, 94, of Nashua Mont., passed away on Wednesday, July 12, 2023, surrounded by family. A private family burial will be held Saturday, July 22. Pete was born on May 18, 1929, in Nashua. He spent the first six years of his life on the farm located on the Milk River Coulee along the Missouri River. In 1935, due to the construction of the Fort Peck Dam, the family relocated to the farm just southeast of Nashua. He grew up working the farm until being drafted into the Army.... Full story
