Frazer The Bearcubs hosted the Frazer Cross Country Invitational Sept. 26. Girls Brianna Beston placed at the Frazer girls at the meet, taking 19th place out of 51 runners. She ran a 25:33.68 race. Glasgow's cross country hit two meets last week, staying close for the Frazer Invitational Sept. 26 then traveling across the state to Missoula for the Mountain West Classic in Missoula Sept. 28. This train car, #50, transported Clark Gable, Franklin D. Roosevelt and the scandalous Huey P. Long. The car got a second life in the 1980s, when Patron spent at least $2 million to restore the car after finding it in a junkyard. The park that had gravel and not much for shade will be sporting grass and trees by late summer. The city has set aside and budgeted for the park over the last two years, and last week the project got started. After weather unexpectedly delayed the annual Kiwanis Easter Egg Hunt on Easter weekend, that did not deter volunteers from still putting it on for the community, just a delayed a week.
