    Robert "Bob" James Golimowski, age 77, passed away Monday, April 17, 2023, at his home in Glasgow, Mont. Bob was born Dec. 26, 1945, in Buffalo, N.Y. He attended Catholic Grammar School where he quickly became friends with the nuns and their rulers. He then graduated from Emerson Vocational High School in 1965. Bob entered the Air Force in February 1966 where he was assigned to Sheppard AFB, Texas for training in Jet Aircraft Mechanics.     The Election Team at the Clerk and Recorder’s office will be running mail-ballot elections for four school districts, Glasgow, Hinsdale, Lustre, and Nashua, and one Special District, St. Marie Rural Fire District.     The Nashua School has six candidates running for two positions on the school board. The candidates are, in no particular order, Sheila Toavs Miller, Tyler Skolrud, Teresa Kennedy, Patricia Sibley, Joe Laumeyer and William Philippi.     Deadlines have been set for this year’s grants and scholarship applications from the Valley County Community Foundation. The first is March 31 for grants, April 15 for the Feda Scholarship, June 15 for the Fuhrman Scholarship, and Sept. 30 for the Markle Scholarship.
