On Aug. 6, at around 03:05 a.m., officers with the Glasgow Police Department responded to a residence on the south side of town upon receiving a report of an assault. Once officers arrived, the caller stated that the suspect, a male, had strangled his mother during an altercation. During the evening of June 17, officers with the Glasgow Police Department responded to a disturbance at an apartment complex on the north side of Glasgow. In 1991, then Sheriff Dan Taylor hired a young aspiring local man as a Deputy Sheriff for the Valley County Sheriff's Office. A new Glasgow Police Department officer was sworn in during the regular meeting session of the Glasgow City Council on March 20 by Mayor Rod Karst. Wyatt Miller, who grew up in Frazer and graduated from Wolf Point in 2019, started serving the community at the beginning of April.
