The Glasgow Police Department has charged a 55-year-old Glasgow man with felony burglary and theft after he was discovered leaving DB’s Bar and Casino in the late evening hours of Jan. 10. According to Sgt. Robert Weber with the GPD, two officers responded to an intrusion alarm at the establishment and once on site discovered the male, who was already on felony probation, intoxicated and in possession of over $600 in cash from the establishment. Lloyd Edward Sundby, 71, died of natural causes in his home near Glasgow, Mont., on Monday, Dec. 23, 2019. The "ol' kid from Glasgow" spent about 35 years on "The North Ten" property. Lloyd was born the fourth child of Orvin and Isabelle (Bakkum) Sundby Oct. 3, 1948, in Glasgow, the ninth child of Orvin's children and always the "baby" of the family. The Glasgow City Council approved a series of spending resolutions during their regular city council meeting on Nov. 18. The resolutions were passed following a legally required public hearing to hear input from the public before spending the taxpayer money. Valley County Sheriff Tom Boyer has informed the Glasgow Courier that a July 30, 2019 fatal crash was the result of impaired driving. According to Boyer, sometime in the early morning hours of Tuesday, July 30, 46-year-old Adam Nees drove his SUV into the Milk River from the intersection of Highways 24 and 42 just east of Glasgow.
