The Glasgow City Council met on April 25 for a regular meeting and discussed water and sewer rates for the next five years. The council agreed to a five-year rate schedule which will increase the base rate for water and sewer two percent each year. The current base rate for a residential water line is $28.15 per month. The Valley County Commissioners met on March 9 to discuss whether or not to impose a tax levy on county property owners in order to assist with the construction of a new swimming pool in Glasgow.
