On July 6, at 8:40 a.m., the Valley County Sheriff’s Office responded to the cabin area of Fort Peck Lake for an unresponsive two-year old, later identified as Cullen Meland, found in the water. Meland, son of Braden and Bethany Meland, of Billings, was staying with relatives in the area when the accident occurred.
